Canadian Tire WickFest Returns to Surrey in February After 3-Year (Covid) Hiatus! - January 12, 2023

Surrey, BC – The 11^th annual Canadian Tire Wickenheiser Female World Hockey Festival (WickFest) is back on Surrey ice from February 2 to 5, 2023 at North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex and the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex, featuring a wide-range of events and activities to experience and enjoy.

“Surrey is proud to support and host the premier showcase for female hockey,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “WickFest will bring together teams from across Canada and the United States and I would like to invite all to come down and cheer on the incredible athletes taking to the ice. Thanks to sponsors who have been incredibly supportive through the crazy journey we've been on the last 3 years, we are able to announce with confidence that Canadian Tire WickFest Fuelled by Gatorade, will SKATE AGAIN in the 2022/2023 season.

Deepest of gratitude to Canadian Tire and Gatorade, and many others such as The City of Surrey, Harvey's, for riding the sidelines for a while with us. We are all ready to get back on the ice!

Calgary dates are: Nov 24-27th and Dec 1-4th, 2022
